What we collect, and what we do not.

The website

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify you. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and reliability.

The connector (MCP server) and the skill check

The connector at usethisskill.com/mcp and the check at usethisskill.com/api/check need no account. We do not store your searches or the links you check, beyond the standard server logs above. When you ask us to check a GitHub link that is not in our directory, we download that public repository from GitHub, scan it in memory, and keep the result for about ten minutes so repeat checks are fast. We never run any code from it.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your email address, what you bought, and the payment status; we never see your card number. Your email is stamped into the license file of a skill you buy so the license is tied to you. We use your email to deliver what you bought and to answer you. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in at checkout.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the services that run the site (Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments, Anthropic when we record a proof you ordered) and when the law requires it.

Your choices

Email hello@usethisskill.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, and we will reply within 30 days.
